Crafted just like the Ruby Cabernet, the aromas of raspberries and cassis are
very pronounced. Sweet blackberries and cassis mingle with soft tannins on
the center of the tongue. This deep-ruby colored wine has a tangy finish.
Aromas of pear and green apple overflow from the glass of this medium-
bodied wine. The mouth offers flavors of sweet, juicy pears on the front,
citrus and mango on the mid-palette, and a bold green apple on the finish.
The intense ruby color is a pleasant surprise on this rosé wine. It has
strawberry and cherry notes on the nose. Bold flavors of fresh strawberries
and bananas fill the palette. It has a long, pleasant berry finish.
With its full flavors, the White Merlot complements many foods, such as ham, chicken, and turkey. This is the most popular wine in the Westcave tasting room, though, so it is often enjoyed by itself.
